John McCormick, former global group head of Blackstone Alternative Asset Management has joined European-focused credit investment firm Growth Credit Partners as a senior advisor and investor.
In this role, John will provide strategic guidance to Growth Credit Partners’ leadership and investment teams while also participating as an investor in the firm’s maiden fund.
Under McCormick’s leadership, Blackstone Alternative Asset Management achieved record financial results, and he was instrumental in launching Blackstone’s data science initiative.
