After having lunch at the popular Tainan morning market, Guohua Street (国华街), we continued our journey. We checked into Just Sleep Tainan Hushan and headed straight to Ten Drum Cultural Village for some fun.
Ten Drum Cultural Village
Ten Drum Cultural Village is located in the Rende District. The site was originally a sugar refinery that has been revamped into a tourist attraction. It’s quite a large park, and you can easily spend the whole day here.
The entrance ticket costs around SGD$21 and gives you access to all the facilities inside. There are drum performances, an indoor playground, outdoor activities, a Harry Potter-like library, and plenty of Instagrammable spots.
Use “Qiqiklook” for additional discount when you buy tickets from Klook

They have alot of instagramable place in this old sugary factory which is really worth visitng.

There’s also outdoor activities like free fall, flying fox, big swing etc. And remember to catch the drum performance. Another must visit is the Magical Castle and Harry Potter Inspired room which you can see from my video.

Just Sleep Tainan Hushan
After we enjoyed ourselves at Ten Drum Cultural Village, we walked to our hotel – Just Sleep Tainan, which is only less than 5 mins walk away.

Hotel room
When I went there last year Novemeer 2024, this hotel is pretty new, so all the things are very nice and spacious. My room overlook Ten Drum Cultural Village. The room I stayed in is Family room with double bed.

Facilities
They are like a modern family friendly boutique hotel, so the facilities they have is swimming pool, lounge and laundry.

Hotel Food
We had our breakfast and dinner at the hotel. For dinner, we had some of their seasonal collection and breakfast is buffet style.

My cousin knows that I’m in Tainan, he drove all the way to meet me with his baby! I’m so touched! Even though we are wide apart but our bonds are strong!

Da Dong Dong Night Market 大东东夜市
After dinner, we went to Da Dong Dong Night Market (大東東夜市) to enjoy even more local delicacies! While it’s not as large or bustling as the popular Garden Night Market we visited the night before, Da Dong Dong is known for its strong focus on food rather than shopping or games. It’s a great place to explore authentic Taiwanese street eats without feeling too overwhelmed by the crowd.

I super love the pancake and the charcoal chicken. For the rest of the food, you can watch my reels for the highly recommended stalls.

That’s the end of my Tainan journey in Novemeber 2024!
