We just got back from the gorgeous island, St. Lucia! I instantly fell in love and can’t wait to go back. St. Lucia is located in the West Indies of the Caribbean Sea and it is truly beautiful. I love that their weather is nice all year long and there are so many fun things to do. You can visit the fishing villages, volcanic beaches, sulphur springs, beaches and of course the see the Pitons. We went there to celebrate my birthday and also our babymoon. In this post, I am going to give you all of the details of our trip and let you know what to do in St. Lucia.

WHERE WE STAYED
We stayed at Caille Blanc Villa and I was very happy we went with that hotel. The staff was very hospitable, the food was delicious and the views were incredible. Whenever we go on vacations, we usually have a jam packed schedule but this time we truly relaxed and I loved every minute of it. Everything we needed was arranged by the hotel staff, so it made our stay so much more enjoyable.
Breakfast is included with your stay and I was tearing it up every morning. Breakfast consists of fresh fruit and juices, egg and meat dishes, yogurt, specialty items, baked goods, coffee and water. You can also have breakfast delivered to your room for an additional charge.
The property consists of only 6 villas and it was perfect because you don’t have to be around too many people, it is very quiet and very private.

WHAT WE DID
We did 3 activities during our stay – chocolate making from scratch, a half day boat ride and visit to Sugar Beach and a boat ride to the north of the island for the Friday fish fry/ street party. We did the chocolate making activity on the hotel premises and that was fun and informative. Below is a video of our experience.

The half day boat ride to Sugar Beach was fun. The captain of our boat took us around the island for about 2.5 hours showing us different areas and giving us some history on the island. After the boat ride, he dropped us at Sugar Beach, a white sand beach upon the Viceroy Sugar Beach Property. There are two places to eat at the beach – one for hotel guests only and the other one for the public. We stayed there for a while so we can eat, enjoy the water and relax.

Every Friday, there is a fish fry/party on the north part of the island. Since our villa was located on the southern part of the island, it would be a pretty long car ride full of windy roads to get there. Because I’m in my third trimester, the windy roads would be rough of me during a long car ride.
We opted for the quickest option to get to the party, so we got a speed boat to take us. That ride took about 45 minutes and it was also sooo cool! I felt like we were in a 90s music video lol. While we were on the boat ride, we could see the stars SO clear. Simply amazing!

The fish fry was great! We got food at Duke’s and it was delicious!! I would definitely recommend it to anyone planning to go.

If you have a trip to St. Lucia coming up, what to do in St. Lucia should be the last question you have because there are so many things to do!
